Event Overview
Welcome message:

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We  cordially  invite  you  to  the  59th   Annual  Meeting  of  the  Society  of
Thrombosis  and  Hemostasis  Research  (GTH).  The  meeting  will  take place from  February  24  to  27,  2015  at  the  CCD  Congress  Center Düsseldorf.  The  congress  will  be  a  truly  international  event  focusing on  the  topic  “Platelet  pathology  and  vascular  medicine”  in  the  light of our congress motto “The ambivalence of progress – do we need a less-is-more strategy?” with the valued help of a top rank national and international advisory board we prepared an enticing scientific program showcasing the most recent and thrilling advances in basic research and translational clinical science. A state-of-the-art update in all major hemostatic topics will complement our broad scientifi c program. We are proud of having succeeded in recruiting a world class faculty featuring some of the very best scientifi c protagonists in their field.

Along  with  a  series  of  excellent  plenary  lectures  and  state-of-the-art symposia, we are introducing a new category of clinical how-to-treat symposia  and  clinical  pro  and  contra  sessions  discussing  some  of the latest clinical controversies illustrated by interesting clinical cases. Furthermore, we will offer several workshops and educationals both for medical colleagues and technical assistants. To foster young academic excellence, we will dedicate a keynote session to showcase the best science presented by young investigators and award these.

In  addition  to  our  scientific  program,  we  will  offer  you  a  wonderful social  program  accompanying  the  congress  that  will  make  your  stay
in Düsseldorf memorable. So please come and join us and meet your colleagues and friends in basic and clinical science. Please submit your abstract and be an active participant.

We are looking forward to welcoming you at the GTH congress in 2015.

Sincerely,

Sincerely,

Prof. Dr. Rüdiger E. Scharf
Congress President 2015
