We cordially invite you to join the 5th Annual Networking World Anesthesia Convention (NWAC) to be held in Vienna, April 30 - May 3, 2014. NWAC is the largest annual World Anesthesia CME event that blends Anesthesiology, Pain Management, Emergency and Intensive Care Medicine. An application will be made to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for CME accreditation of this event. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS): www.uems.net. The 5th Networking World Anesthesia Convention this year will be dedicated to Monitoring and Patient Safety in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care.
The 5th NWAC Meeting will provide a Didactic and Interactive Curriculum in order to:
- Advance Research and New Knowledge in Anesthesiology, Pain Management and Intensive Care
- Foster networking and build relationships across continents, institutions, and individuals with special emphasis on health providers from emerging countries
- Strengthen ties among academics, providers, professional societies and industry
During the 4 days of the Convention the overarching theme will be the use of monitoring to enhance patient safety. A multidisciplinary faculty of 120 leading experts from around the globe will be presenting over 70 specialized didactic sessions, 40 refresher courses, 50 hands-on sessions, involving cutting edge discussions on airway management, Pain Medicine, ICU, Regional, Obstetric and Cardiac Anesthesia. In addition, there will be 25 problem based learning discussions and over 400 scientific abstracts to stimulate discussion and generation of new ideas
Unique aspects of an NWAC convention include the legendary NWAC Melting Pot organized after conference hours to foster networking and building of professional relationships among participants and faculty.
