5th World Congress of Pediatric Surgery (WOFAPS 2016)
The WOFAPS 2016 Congress is hosted by The Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation in Washington, DC. The Sheikh Zayed Institute, a part of Children’s National, redefines what is possible in pediatric surgery through innovative, integrated research development. Institute physicians, scientists, and engineers purse a shared goal to make pediatric surgery more precise, less invasive, and pain free for children in the national capital region, across the country, and around the world. SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
The scholarship application is now CLOSED. Children’s National Medical Center is making available $25,000 towards scholarship to trainees and young professionals (those have been in pediatric surgical practice for 5 years or less). The prize of each scholarship will vary depending on the need. Due to overwhelming number of applications, the Scientific Committee is now able to make its selection by July 15, 2016 at which time applicants will be notified.
