We are pleased to announce that 5th World Congress on Controversies in Breast Cancer (CoBrCa): When is Less More? will take place September 4 – 6, 2019 in San Francisco, CA, USA and will be hosted by the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
The 5th CoBrCa Congress will continue to directly address key and controversial issues facing clinicians in their daily practice in an effort to find solutions to unresolved clinical and therapeutic problems. Experts will debate, discuss and present lectures on topics in medical oncology, surgery, breast imaging, radiation oncology, pathology, reconstruction and more. At the end of each lecture, the audience will be provided with ample time to join the discussion.

CoBrCa cannot accept liability for personal accidents, nor loss of or damage to private property of participants, either during or directly arising from The 5th World Congress on Controversies in Breast Cancer. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.
All cancellations must be faxed, electronically mailed or post-marked. Refund of registration fees will be as follows:
- Postmarked until Wednesday, July 10, 2019 – 100% refund (minus $50 handling fee).
- Postmarked from Thursday, July 11 until Monday, August 5, 2019– 50% refund.
- No refund from Tuesday, August 6, 2019.

What is this competition all about?
The Scientific Committee of the 5th World Congress on Controversies in Breast Cancer (CoBrCa) invites young scientists and researchers to submit their work and to join the Young Scientist Award competition.
The winner(s) will receive a “cash prize” and the abstract will be presented as an oral presentation.
In addition, abstracts of the winners will be published in the journal “Clinical Breast Cancer”, published by Elsevier.
Wow! How do I enter?
It’s very simple.
1. Submit your abstract via the Congress website no later than Wednesday, June 5, 2019.

2. Register and pay registration fees.
3. Include your date of birth during the registration process.
Great! So what are the guidelines for submitting?
- Submitters must be born in 1985 or after.
- Submitters must be the first author of the abstract.
- Attendance at the Congress by the winner is mandatory in order to receive and collect the award.
- Winner(s) who cancel for any reason will not be entitled to collect their award.
Note that abstracts sent by email or fax will automatically be rejected.
Best Poster Award
All poster presentations are automatically entered into the competition. The posters will be judged on site and winners will receive a cash prize.
