IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPEAKERS FOR NSICON 2015
To preserve copyright issues and prevent speaker's presentation being taken or being used by anybody else, we have taken the following unique precautions. We request speakers to go through these instructions for submission of presentations:
All presentations must be submitted in preview rooms
Separate facilities will be available for Mac users
All the speakers will be able to log into a secure password protected portal, where the presentations may be uploaded
Following their presentations, the speakers could delete their presentation after logging into their portal again
A speaker will not have access to any other speaker's presentations
Our friendly staff at the preview room will help you with this process
Time guidelines are to be strictly followed as this will not be within the purview of Chairpersons too
Locate your session room in time. You must be in your session room at least 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the session.
Facilities for power point presentation shall be provided.
Please hand in your power point presentations much prior to the start of your session at the preview room. Failure to hand in presentations in time could result in presentations not being available for projection when required.
Follow the chairperson’s instructions in particular those regarding the timing of your lecture.
Brand name CANNOT be used in the title of the lectures; only generic names are permitted.
Use of laptops/pen drives directly in the hall is prohibited.
Time guidelines will have to be followed strictly.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PRESENTING PAPER
The presenting author should be a member of Neurological Society of India.
The presenting author should be a registered delegate for NEUROCON 2015.
PODIUM SESSIONS INSTRUCTIONS
SPECIALTY SESSIONS, GUEST LECTURES AND MORNING SEMINARS
Time allotted to speakers in these sessions will be 12 Minutes (Plus 3 minutes for discussion) OR as per specified time in the scientific program.
After 12 minutes, a count down will start for 1 minute. After 30 seconds, the visual will go off automatically and after another 30 seconds the audio will also be cut off
Following this, an additional period of only 2 minutes (instead of allocated 3 minutes) will be provided for questions and discussion
Presentations should ideally in flash mode or max 10 slides. It is preferred that a power point or a flash presentation with an pre-prepared audio is presented to avoid time loss.
Time allotted to speakers in these sessions will be 4 Minutes (1 minute for discussion)
After 3½ minutes, a count down will start and both visual and audio will go off after 4 minutes
Time allotted to speakers in these sessions will be Minutes (Plus 2 minutes for discussion)
After 8 minutes, another 30 seconds will be provided to summarize the findings after which both visual and audio will go off. After this, only 1½ minutes (instead of allocated 2 minutes) will be provided for discussion
Time allotted for the Video Presentation is 7 Minutes (Plus 2 minutes for discussion).
Please use only video format and preferably single case
Explanatory slides should be integrated in the videos
After 7 minutes, another 30 sec to summarize the talk, after which the visual and audio will go off. After this, only 1½ minutes (instead of 2 minutes) will be provided for discussion.
DIGITAL POSTER SESSION
Time allotted to presenters in the Poster Session is 2 Minutes and one minute for discussion.
Only one slide on a single screen is permitted.
Payment can be made Online or through Cheque/ DD in the name of "NSICON 2015"
Microphone or any promotional activities, hindering or disturbing other sponsor/exhibitor will not be permitted. This is a must for security purpose.
The number of representatives of the sponsor/exhibitor at the conference venue will be limited, depending on the extent of sponsorship, at the discretion of the organizing committee.
All prices are exclusive of 14% Service Tax (subject to change as per the government policies).
Please be advised that your participation is not considered confirmed until payment has been received in full. Please note that all payments must be made in Indian Rupees.
Cancellations are to be made in writing (mail) or by Fax to CIM Global India Pvt. Ltd. 50% of the payment will be refunded if canceled before January 2015, after which there will be no entitlement for any refund.
The Exhibition Committee reserves the right to modify or rearrange the floor plan or even cancel any sponsorship/Exhibitor, without assigning any reason thereof.
Sponsorship / Exhibition will be allocated on first come first served basis only after the Cheque/ Demand Draft for the booking amount is en-cashed and the Organizers reserve the right to cancel the booking in the event of non payment within the stipulated time.
All booking forms must be accompanied by 50% advance and the balance must be paid till such tariff is applicable or within 15 days. Written confirmation of booking will be given after 100% advance payment is received.
The sponsor/exhibitor must not cause any damage to the walls, panels and other areas of the venue. Incase of any such damage, the sponsor/exhibitor will have to indemnify the Organizers for the same.
The date and time of handover of the exhibition space shall be communicated to all near the conference dates. No workman will be allowed at the exhibition site after 5:00 am of December 17, 2015 under any circumstances. If the participants fail to occupy the stall by 7:00 am on 17th Dec'15, the Trade & Exhibition Committee reserves the right to allot the vacant stalls to the waiting applicants.
Appointed Electrical Contractor will execute all electrical connections inside the stall and other areas. The sponsors / exhibitors are required to intimate the organizers in writing on the additional points required by them at least 30 days in advance. Please note all extra points/connections would be charged on Pro-rata basis.
The Exhibition Committee shall allocate the floor areas to meet the request of exhibitors as far as possible to their given preference but the same cannot be guaranteed by the Exhibition Committee.
Sponsor / Exhibition confirmed are NON TRANSFERABLE.
Companies wanting to import equipment or consumable for exhibition purpose should inform the conference secretariat at the time of booking to enable us to obtain International Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) approval & assist with our freight partner details.
