Event Overview
Welcome message:
Continuing Education Company has been organizing its Primary Care Conference Series for the past 23 years. The Essentials in Primary Care Summer Conference is designed to update primary care clinicians in rapidly changing therapeutic areas. The emphasis is on practical and useful information for clinical practice. Join us this July when we hold the 6th Annual Essentials in Primary Care Summer Conference. This conference will be repeated in two sessions for convenience in scheduling. Session II will he held at the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Florida. Located near St. Augustine, this premier Florida beach destination features luxury villa and condominium accommodations overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, a 91,000 square-foot multi-level water park with lazy river, signature golf courses designed by golf's greatest legends, Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson, a rejuvenating resort spa with influences from the sea and a host of other recreational amenities that will keep you coming back year after year.

As a result of this conference, participants will be able to:

  • Discuss the clinical presentation of the common disorders seen in the primary care.
  • Identify the role of the family physician in the management of these common problems.
  • Utilize current advances in the diagnosis and treatment of these common problems, using whenever possible, an evidence-based approach.
  • Interact and question nationally acclaimed speakers on a variety of common clinical scenarios from medical practice.

The resort features the finest amenities, a wide array of tropical recreation options and the highest level of customer service. Opened in 2004, with luxury, comfort and the beauty of Central Florida's coastal paradise in mind, all accommodations are oversized (750 to 2,400 sq ft) and elegantly appointed. Each features one to four bedrooms and complimentary high speed internet access.

The recreational 'jewel' of the Hammock Beach Resort is the 6.5 acre Fantasy Water Pool complex. The resort also features an indoor pool, over 10,000 sq ft in size, housed in a vaulted ceiling swim pavilion as well as two additional secluded outdoor pools. The resort offers 36 holes of golf. The Ocean Course, a Jack Nicklaus Signature design has six holes on the oceanfront and plays host to PGA Champions Tour events. The Conservatory at Hammock Beach, a Tom Watson Signature design, encompasses 140 acres and features a links course flair so fitting a 5-time British Open Champion. The 22,000 sq ft fitness centre and full-service spa offers every indulgent spa service possible. The rejuvenating spa features massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, body wraps and a hair salon. As stylish or as casual as you care, Hammock Beach Resort dining options abound – Definos Italian Restaurant, the Sushi Bar, the beach side Atlantic Grille & Bar or the Ocean Bar Café at the Fantasy Water Park.

General Info
Continuing Education Company allows for a limited number of exhibits at specific CME Educational Conferences. Exhibits are located in an area separate from the educational sessions but are very accessible to doctors attending the conference. Acceptance of exhibits is at the discretion of Continuing Education Company. Pharmaceutical exhibits will not be considered, only related medical or lifestyle products.

The main purpose of having exhibitors present at our conferences is to allow the physicians attending access to information and products that will enhance their knowledge and/or personal enrichment. This could include medical equipment and software, educational and resource books, practice management technology, financial and insurance services and products, travel and leisure opportunities.

Exhibiting at a Continuing Education Company conference is very beneficial as you will have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with family and internal medicine physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. It will allow you to expand your prospective and existing relationships, introduce products and services and generate new sales leads.

Due to the intimate nature of our conferences, exhibitors will receive a table and two chairs – no large booths or signs will be allowed.

If you are interested in applying for an exhibitor spot please call Barbara Lyons at (516) 882-5551, ext. 101 or email Barbara@CMEmeeting.org. An exhibitor packet including prices will be emailed to you.
