This important Conference will highlight the latest scientific and clinical developments related to the management of thymic malignancies and will bring together established scientists and clinicians from all over the world who have interest in the field of thymic cancers research.

The Conference Secretariat (International Conference Services) is the official housing bureau for the ITMIG 2015 Conference and will offer assistance with the coordination of housing requirements for the ITMIG 2015 Conference. Special room rates have been negotiated at the Regal Hotel and will be available to Conference delegates only.

We urge all sponsors, exhibitors and delegates to book at the official ITMIG hotel. The success of ITMIG and the Conference depends on delegates, sponsors and exhibitors using the contracted hotel. Having all delegates, sponsors and exhibitors stay at the official ITMIG hotel promotes networking and building of an international community, which is an overarching reason for ITMIG success.

ITMIG cannot meet contracted room obligations if registrations, sponsors and exhibitors reserve rooms outside the official hotel. Rooms that are not filled because of that, create an expense for ITMIG in the form of financial penalties (attrition fees) and place the financial success of the Conference and ITMIG at risk, which increases with each delegate, sponsor and exhibitor who stays outside the Conference hotel or books the hotel through channels other than the official housing bureau.

Research work should be original and innovative. Work can be presented prior to the ITMIG 2015 Conference, but should also include new information not presented before

The Committee allows Clinical Trial abstracts, but will not accept Case Reports

Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the Conference website

Abstracts will be accepted in English only

Abstracts should not exceed 500 words in length (authors and abstract title do not count towards word limit, the word limit applies to the abstract body only)

One table may be included, which will count as 75 words

A maximum of 2 images may be included, each will count as 75 words

The presenting author must be registered for the meeting by September 18, 2015. The presenting author is also the main contact person and will receive all correspondence such as notification of acceptance, presentation details and guidelines. It is the presenting author’s responsibility to provide this information to his co-authors

There is no limit to the number of co-authors per abstract

There is no fee for submitting an abstract

There is no limit to the number of abstracts you may submit (however, an individual may not be offered more than 2 oral presentations)

An international panel of reviewers will review all abstracts anonymously

Presentations will be in Oral or Poster format based on the scientific content of the abstract

All abstracts accepted by the Scientific Committee will be posted on the Conference website prior to the meeting and it is mandatory to agree to this at the time of submission

Building on the success of previous meetings, the Conference will feature invited lectures, debates, poster sessions and oral abstract sessions focusing on topics such as paraneoplastic and immune disorders associated with thymic malignancies, establishment of cell lines from thymic tumors, development of gene signatures to determine prognosis, multimodality treatment of thymoma and thymic carcinoma and emerging drug targets and the role of targeted therapy in the treatment of these cancers. The Conference will provide the ideal forum to stimulate ideas and establish collaborations as well as to initiate intense discussions about the role of clinical trials, surgery, radiation therapy and other novel approaches for the treatment of thymic cancers. Poster viewing opportunities and interactive oral abstract sessions will foster communications between delegates.

ITMIG 2015 values the building of relationships throughout the meeting. Going beyond the formal scientific sessions, ITMIG encourages building all relationships, including between continents, specialties and particularly also between industry sponsors and ITMIG members.
