7th Annual Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Course is organized by is organized by Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Society (CRUS) / societe pour I ultrasonographie en rhumatologie au canada (SURC) and will be held during Mar 24 - 25, 2018 at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
The Canadian Rheumatology Ultrasound Society’s Basic Course allows students to obtain the practical knowledge necessary to use musculoskeletal ultrasonography in their daily clinical practice. It has an emphasis on a thorough understanding of the normal anatomy as well as a basic knowledge of musculoskeletal pathology relevant for rheumatologists. Additionally students will be able to assess treatment response via ultrasonography after completion of the course.
The course employs a unique teaching model with hands on teaching during three weekends and mandatory practice in between the weekends including the uploading of scans obtained by the students on which feedback is given online. All relevant joints will be covered such as hand wrist, foot, ankle, elbow, shoulder, knee and hip.
General Info:
The price of the course is CAD 1000 per weekend or a total of CAD 1500 for both weekends (50% discount for trainees). This includes the feedback in between weekends. This fee includes the course and the meals during the course but not hotel or travel arrangements. To register for a single weekend, please contact us.
Payments are accepted in Canadian dollars. Once the registration is confirmed the full amount of the course fee is payable within 4 weeks but no later than 7 days before the first weekend.
For cancellations until 8 weeks in advance CRUS refunds 80% of the course fee, for cancellations until 4 weeks in advance CRUS refunds 50%. For cancellations less than 4 weeks before the course no refunds will be given. In case CRUS cancels the course a full refund of paid course fees will be given.
