This course will provide a week-long broad spectrum review of radiological sub-specialties for radiologists and residents in preparation for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada licensing exam in Diagnostic Radiology. The course will include lectures (some case-based) and comprehensive reviews in:
As part of the course fees, all participants will receive an electronic link to PDF files of all course presentations. This link will be available for one month after the end of the course. Files are for the use of course participants only and should not be reproduced or shared without prior permission.
Course fees also include a Welcome Reception and all breaks. Lunches are on own and the responsibility of the participants.
The course begins on Sunday March 5th at 12 noon (registration opens at 10 am) and ends Thursday March 9th. Optional sessions are held Monday-Thursday evenings as well as all day Friday, March 10th.
We offer restricted optional (at a cost) sessions only for those who are scheduled to take the Royal College Exam in 2017, they are as follows:
Hotseats ($100) * new cases
Available Monday through Thursday Evenings. (Disponible en français lundi soir.)
OSCE Mock Exams * new cases (offert en anglais mais réponses écrites en français seront acceptées.) ($150)
Available Wednesday and Thursday Evening as well as Friday during the day.
ORAL Exam * new cases (disponible en français, places limitées) ($150)
Available Friday March 10th only

Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
Identify, characterize, and provide a differential assessment for radiologic abnormalities identified on imaging in all areas of radiology
Provide an appropriate investigation and management strategies for abnormalities detected
Recognize emergent and life threatening abnormalities on imaging studies and manage appropriately
Discuss pertinent technical issues and modality use in clinical imaging and follow-up
Discuss the Royal College Exam Process
