Event Overview
Welcome message:

Dear Colleagues

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 7th International Conference on Children's Bone Health, to be held 27-30 June 2015 in the beautiful Austrian city of Salzburg.

This Conference will bring together scientists and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines to gain a better understanding of the growing skeleton in health and disease. The scope ranges from basic molecular mechanisms to clinical aspects, from bone physiopathology to treatment.  We invite anyone with an interest in bone metabolism and bone mass in children, adolescents and young adults to attend.  The 2013 meeting held in Rotterdam was attended by over 300 delegates from over 45 countries, making it truly multinational and multidisciplinary – a unique networking opportunity.

The scientific programme is designed to present researchers, physicians, and allied health professionals with the newest research, with sessions including plenary lectures by world-leading experts, symposia, workshops, oral communications and poster sesssions.

The Conference will offer investigators from around the world an opportunity to meet with each other and with industry representatives. There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion both in and outside the lecture theatre and we actively encourage you to submit your abstracts for oral and poster presentation. Our priority is to maximise the time available for presentation of submitted abstracts.

We are proud to hold this conference in one of the most beautiful cities of Europe.  Famous as the birthplace of Mozart, Salzburg is well known for its romantic scenery and rich cultural heritage.  Situated in Central Europe, the city is easily accessible from every corner of the globe through the major European transportation hubs.  The conference will be held in the Salzburg Congress Center, a versatile, modern and spacious venue, perfect in size and location for ICCBH.

ICCBH is your opportunity to hear about and discuss the newest developments in our understanding of paediatric bone health. Come and participate in a lively interactive meeting with the leaders in the field!

We look forward to seeing you in Salzburg in June 2015.

Invitation to participate

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the 7th International Conference on Children’s Bone Health, to be held in the beautiful city of Salzburg, Austria, from 27-30 June 2015.

The ICCBH meeting will offer a high quality scientific programme of interest to both clinical and basic scientists. We are expecting around 300 delegates to attend, many of whom will be key opinion leaders in their fields.

The last meeting was held in Rotterdam in June 2013 and was the first ICCBH meeting after a 4-year gap.  It was very successful and was attended by over 300 delegates from 45 countries.

One of the attractions of this meeting (both for delegates and for sponsors) is its multidisciplinary nature, so it gives you the opportunity to talk to specialists from many different fields – paediatricians, endocrinologists, rheumatologists, nephrologists, nutritionists, orthopaedic surgeons and others.

Highlights will include the following:

An exciting programme of invited speaker lectures featuring some of the world's leading experts in the field

Company-supported satellite symposia highlighting some of the latest developments and research

A busy exhibition area with lunch included in the delegate fee

Well-attended poster sessions in the same space as the exhibition
