Event Overview
Welcome message:

Radiology is facing an unprecedented set of challenges to traditional practice. In the USA, these include reductions in reimbursement, paradigm shifts from volume based reimbursement to value models such as accountable care organizations, as well as power shifts from specialists to primary care and from independent practice towards hospitals.

This symposium will provide the attendee with a sophisticated briefing on these critical issues. The speakers and the panels will provide strategic, in depth discussion of not only the challenges, but also an understanding of what drives them and what will likely happen in the future. The speakers will discuss answers and solutions to these issues, sharing proven best practices for handling these situations.  The speakers will be available for panel discussions and this year for the first time there will be an open debate about the effects of the first decade of the Affordable Care Act upon radiology.
The faculty is comprised of nationally recognized educators who have implemented these skills successfully in their own practices, as well as consulting and helping in many others across the country. The faculty members have been chosen for their teaching ability, as well as for their expertise.
