FLUENCY DISORDERS 2015, 8th World Congress on Fluency Disorders will be held between 06 July, 2015 and 08 July, 2015.
The place of the Congress was decided on as Catholic University in Lisbon.
FLUENCY DISORDERS 2015 works as a noteworthy Congress that will cope with the topics of Medical, Hearing Speech, Health and Hearing Disorders and much more.

Proposals for oral and poster presentations are now invited. Based on feedback from the call for sessions, presentations which address the conference’s key theme, “Embracing our differences: Sharing perspectives on stuttering and cluttering" and the following topics are particularly welcome:
· Epigenetics
· Subtypes of fluency disorders
· What does the evidence base really tell us?
· Conflicts and paradigms within the fluency field
· Clinical guidelines
· Relevance of brain imaging findings for people with fluency disorders and their clinicians
· Clinical relevance of social networking and social support
· Treatment of stuttering, cluttering or other fluency disorders
· Panel debates
The following format options are available:
1. Oral presentation
30 minutes presentation, including 10 minutes for questions/discussion.
This type of presentation might include reports on research projects, clinical techniques, and the application of research to clinical processes.
2. Seminar
Either 60, 90 or 120 minutes, including 15 minutes for questions/discussion.
Seminars, workshops or short courses allowing more extensive presentation, demonstration or discussion of research, presentation of innovative clinical programs, clinical and education issues, panel debates or other aspects related to fluency and fluency disorders.
3. Poster presentation
Poster presentations can be research- or clinically-based.
Submission guidelines
Proposals must be submitted by email to ifa2015program@theifa.org using the presentation proposal form*. The official language of the congress is English. Only proposals and presentations in English will be accepted.
Submission of a proposal is a commitment by at least one of the authors to register for the congress and present in the time slot assigned by the Organizing Committee.
Submitted abstracts will be acknowledged within a week with an electronic receipt including an abstract reference number.
The deadline for abstract submissions is 11th January 2015. Submissions will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee during early 2015. Papers will be selected on the bases of quality, type of proposal, nature of proposal and relevance to conference participants. The corresponding author will be notified of acceptance status by 15th March 2015.
