Event Overview
Welcome message:

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is a great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to Israel.

On behalf of the PDWP and the organizing committee I cordially invite you to attend the joint meeting of the PDWP, the IEWP and the Pediatric Nurses Group of the EBMT.

The meeting will provide the necessary platform on which clinicians, nurses and researchers from all countries in Europe and other continents will meet, in order to present the state of the art in the rapidly evolving field of Pediatric HSCT. The latest research will be discussed and debates on crucial topics will be conducted by eminent clinicians and scientists.

The Scientific Program will include educational sessions and presentations covering new developments in pediatric stem cell transplantation with regard to indications, donor selection and stem cell source, complications, graft-versus-host disease and late effects, as well as basic and translational research relevant to the field. In particular, the role of cellular therapy in transplantation will be discussed to enhance our knowledge in this field. The nurses group will bring together nurses from many countries and cultures to discuss the latest developments in pediatric patient care, and the joint sessions will be an excellent opportunity to intensify the cooperation between our professional groups.

The program will be complemented with a professional exhibition, offering clinicians and scientists a unique opportunity to take an active part, and for the exhibitors to collaborate with decision makers in many aspects of the field.

All participants are welcome to submit abstracts for both oral and poster sessions.

Many of us involved in Pediatric HSCT have established during the years lasting friendships with colleagues from abroad, and this meeting will be an excellent platform to integrate young colleagues into our friendly network.

The meeting will take place in Jerusalem - a city of overwhelming emotions, a city that promises a religious and spiritual experience, excitement and pleasure.

We look forward to welcoming you to Israel, for what we hope will be a stimulating and inspiring scientific, social and cultural event.

Yours sincerely,

Prof. Isaac Yaniv

Meeting Chairman
