Airway Management : Training the Trainers 2017
This course is suitable for senior trainees and new consultants who wish to set up or organise airway training within their trust. The day consists of a mixture of lectures and workshops and will cover topics such as:
What to teach, how to teach it and who should attend the training
How to use different modalities of teaching for varying budgets and facilities
How to ensure the course complies with the RCoA guidelines for revalidation
How to teach in multidisciplinary settings, including how to co-ordinate teams and manage people throughout training
How to set up non-profit and profit generating courses locally
By the end of this day candidates will be confident in setting up new courses, organising and delivering effective airway teaching in their hospitals for multidisciplinary teams in a cost effective manner.
