Event Overview
Welcome message:

OMICS International invites for a premier event in  Allergy  be held during March 29-30, 2016 in Valencia, Spain on the theme "Immuno Pathology, Diagnosis and Treatment  of Different Types of Allergies".

You are invited to join thousands of allergist/immunologists, allied health and related healthcare professionals for 3 full days with hundreds of educational offerings on a variety of topics including: allergic disease; asthma; immunotherapy; food allergy and GI disease; skin disease; PIDD; practice management; new technologies; and health care reform.

Allergy conference 2016 mainly focuses on topics like food  alleries, immune pathology of different types of allergies  and diagnosis, differenet mechanisms and path ways involved in allergic diseases, biomarkers for identification of allergies, major different types of allergies like dust, pollen and skin allergies pediatric allergies, preventive measures, awareness programmes amongst public to build a hygienic healthy individuals.

Asthma

Asthma (AZ-ma) is a chronic (long-term) lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways. Asthma causes recurring periods of wheezing (a whistling sound when you breathe), chest tightness, shortness of breath, and coughing. The coughing often occurs at night or early in the morning. Asthma affects people of all ages, but it most often starts during childhood. In the United States, more than 25 million people are known to have asthma. About 7 million of these people are children. Sometimes asthma symptoms are mild and go away on their own or after minimal treatment with asthma medicine. Other times, symptoms continue to get worse. Asthma has no cure. Even when you feel fine, you still have the disease, it can flare up at any time. However, with today’s knowledge, and treatments, most people who have asthma are able to manage the disease. This  can be discussed in Allergy Conference.

Hypersensitivity

A state of altered reactivity in which the body reacts with an exaggerated immune  to a foreign agent; Anaphylaxis and Allergy  are formsof hypersensitivity.hypersensitivity reaction the exaggerated or inappropriate immune response occurring in Hypersensitivity, in response to a substanceeither foreign or perceived as foreign and resulting in local or general tissue damage. An excessive reaction, local or systemic, or inappropriate immune response to an antigen.  An immediate, abnormal reaction occurring when an antigen reacts with an antibody (e.g. immunoglobulin E(IgE) attached to a mast cell or basophil. This leads to the release of specific chemical mediators of allergy (e.g. histamine) that reactwith target organs throughout the body. Systemic signs include itching, lacrimation, skin rash and possibly haemodynamic collapse and shock find more at Allergy Conferences.

Biomarker

The beneficial effects of glucocorticoids (GCs) in the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (SAR) are well established. Despite this, 10–30% of patients with SAR and other allergic or autoimmune diseases show low or limited responses to GCs. Hence, there is a clinical need to find biomarkers to monitor treatment response. The large number of proteins that are involved in inflammatory diseases complicates the identification of such biomarkers. Proteomics may help to detect and quantify those proteins, but the prioritization of candidate biomarkers is a challenge. Multivariate analysis can be used to prioritize combinations of biomarkers that best separate groups of patients. Pathway analysis helps to obtain a functional overview of those combinations and thereby further contributes to the prioritization. This can be discussed in Allergy conferences.

Food allergy

The body’s immune system keeps you healthy by fighting off infections and other dangers to good health. A food allergy reaction occurs when your immune system overreacts to a food or a substance in a food, identifying it as a danger and triggering a protective response. While allergies tend to run in families, it is impossible to predict whether a child will inherit a parent’s food allergy or whether siblings will have a similar condition. Symptoms of a food allergy can range from mild to severe. Just because an initial reaction causes few problems doesn’t mean that all reactions will be similar; a food that triggered only mild symptoms on one occasion may cause more severe symptoms at another time. The most severe allergic reaction is anaphylaxis — a life-threatening whole-body allergic reaction that can impair your breathing, cause a dramatic drop in your blood pressure and affect your heart rate. Anaphylaxis can come on within minutes of exposure to the trigger food. It can be fatal and must be treated promptly with an injection of epinephrine (adrenaline). Different Types of food allergies are discussed in Allergy Conferences.

STD –AIDS

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are infections that can be transferred from one person to another through any type of sexual contact. STDs are sometimes referred to as sexually transmitted infections (STIs) since they involve the transmission of a disease-causing organism from one person to another during sexual activity. It is important to realize that sexual contact includes more than just sexual intercourse (vaginal and anal).STDs probably have been around for thousands of years, but the most dangerous of these conditions, the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS or HIV disease), has only been recognized since 1984.

Many STDs are treatable, but effective cures are lacking for others, such as HIV, HPV, and hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Even gonorrhea, once easily cured, has become resistant to many of the older traditional antibiotics. Many STDs can be present in, and spread by, people who do not have any symptoms of the condition and have not yet been diagnosed with an STD. Therefore, public awareness and education about these infections and the methods of preventing them is important.

Vaccines

A vaccine is a biological preparation that provides active acquired immunity to a particular disease. A vaccine typically contains an agent that resembles a disease-causing microorganism and is often made from weakened or killed forms of the microbe, its toxins or one of its surface proteins. The agent stimulates the body's immune system to recognize the agent as a threat, destroy it, and keep a record of it, so that the immune system can more easily recognize and destroy any of these microorganisms that it later encounters.

The administration of vaccines is called vaccination. The effectiveness of vaccination has been widely studied and verified; for example, the influenza vaccine, the HPV vaccine, and the chicken pox vaccine. Vaccination is the most effective method of preventing infectious diseases.

Biobanking

A biobank is a type of biorepository that stores biological samples (usually human) for use in research. Since the late 1990s biobanks have become an important resource in medical research, supporting many types of contemporary research like genomics and  personalized medicine.

Biobanks give researchers access to data representing a large number of people. Samples in biobanks and the data derived from those samples can often be used by multiple researchers for cross purpose research studies. For example, many diseases are associated with single-nucleotide polymorphisms, and performing genome-wide association studies using large collections of samples which represent tens or hundreds of thousands of individuals can help to identify disease biomarkers.
