American College of Radiology (ACR) High Resolution CT of the Chest (HRCT) Course is organized by American College of Radiology (ACR) and would be held during Jan 16 - 18, 2018 at University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event for General radiologists and or non-thoracic imaging fellowship trained radiologists that are called upon to interpret HRCT studies in their practice. This CME Conference has been approved with a maximum of 34.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits and 25 SAM Credits. 

Course Overview: 

This Course is designed to provide practicing radiologists with the skills and understanding necessary to interpret high resolution CT of the chest in diffuse infiltrative lung diseases. During the program, participants will receive lectures on specific aspects of HRCT, interspersed with hands-on interpretation of cases related to those topics. Faculty will provide direct supervision and assistance with hands-on interpretation. The integration of clinical, radiologic, and pathologic information will also be discussed.

Program Objectives: 

At the conclusion of this course, particpants will be able to:

• Discuss the clinical indications and optimal approach for high resolution imaging of the lung parenchyma

• Utilize approach to CT differential diagnosis based on pattern and distribution of abnormality

• Know clinical features of the common interstitial lung diseases

• Understand the importance and mechanism of multidisciplinary consultation in diagnosis of interstitial lung disease

This course will offer the optional Workstation Refresher session at 7:00am on the first day of the course. Those who attend this session will receive one additional CME credit.
