This course is aimed at senior residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in women’s imaging. It is articulated on imaging strategies for breast and pelvic pathologies. Special focus is given to the latest cross-sectional imaging techniques in the detection and staging of breast, cervical and ovarian malignancies. Internationally renowned European experts ensure a high quality-teaching programme combining lectures and interactive case discussions.
to convey in-depth knowledge of breast cancer imaging and breast screening mammography
to discuss state-of-the-art imaging approaches, using breast US elastography, digital breast tomosynthesis and breast MRI in the detection and characterisation of breast cancer and in the imaging of the axilla
to review interventional procedures of breasts under imaging guidance
to review imaging protocols for female pelvic imaging, and potential pitfalls in imaging
to refresh knowledge of pelvic inflammatory disorders
to present an update on current imaging protocols for the detection and evaluation of the cervical and ovarian cancer
