Dear Colleagues,
We feel honoured to invite you to the 49th Annual Conference of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India to be held at Chandigarh from 15th to 19th October, 2014. It is our privilege to host the much anticipated annual meeting of our organisation.
As our speciality grows and evolves further into different subspecialities, it becomes prudent to employ a holistic approach towards the complete spectrum of plastic surgery, with an attempt to learn contemporary concepts established among various subspecialists in our exciting discipline - hence the theme “Demystifying Plastic Surgery”.
We plan to bring together the best of brains among us for guest lectures, panel discussions, symposia and keynote addresses with a view to resolve the controversies and challenges in our field. We are also keen to learn from your experiences and invite your contributions and views in an endeavor to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
The conference will be held at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, which has just completed five decades in service of the Nation (1963-2013). Chandigarh, the City Beautiful, is famous for its architectural design, excellent shopping avenues, beautiful surrounding destinations and above all the ambience of warm hospitality.
