Welcome message:

On behalf of the Organising Committee I would like to welcome you to the 2016 Australasian Epidemiological Association 23rd Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held from the 14th to the 16th of September at the Australian National University in the heart of Canberra. 

With you, our colleagues, we will explore how epidemiology can be used to engage with, and inform, public health policy. Meeting themes will include implementation science, biostatistics, epidemiologic methods and how epidemiology is used for action. We look forward to lively discussions, workshops, networking opportunities and presentations from leading researchers and practitioners. Join us in the beautiful Canberra spring, in the lead up to Floriade, for collegiality, excellent science, and sharing of experience to ensure that our research can make a difference.
