Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) Annual Scientific Meeting 2018
The 2018 ANZGOG Annual Scientific Meeting will be held at the Hilton Brisbane on 4 to 7 April 2018. We are pleased to announce our two distinguished international speakers:
- Dr Martee Hensley (Medical Oncologist, New York, USA)
- Dr Michael Milosevic (Radiation Oncologist, Toronto, Canada)
Will be providing keynote addresses. We also have outstanding speakers from Australia and New Zealand.
Inspired by the theme 'Challenges in precision gynaecological cancer care in the molecular era', the ASM will host our fourth Pure Science Symposium on Wednesday afternoon. Other sessions at the ASM include:

- Quality & Survivorship
- Trial Concepts & Updates
- Controversies in Gynaecological Cancer
- Molecular Tumour Board
A new session on Translational ANZGOG & Pathology has been added to the program. ANZGOG continues its popular series of speciality workshops with Concept Development, Radiation Oncology, and education workshops for Study Coordinators, Consumers and Gynaecological Cancer Nurses. We would like to thank members of the ANZGOG Scientific Meeting Program Committee for helping to organise the Annual Scientific Meeting 2018.

ANZGOG invites Abstracts of papers to be considered for oral/poster presentation at the ANZGOG Annual Scientific
Meeting 2018 to be held at Hilton, Brisbane, 4
th – 7
th April 2018. Abstracts describing research results on all topics and
areas related to gynaecological cancers are welcomed.
With submission of your Abstract you will assign the rights for it to be published on the ANZGOG member website.
The paper submitted for review will be the final version for print. Please ensure your papers adhere to the guidelines
stipulated.
All presenters must register to attend the conference. Acceptance of papers into the program is contingent upon
receipt of the registration fee in full.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 12th February 2018
ORAL PRESENTATION:
Applicants whose abstracts are chosen for oral presentation are expected to present in person on one of the
conference days Thursday, 5
th April, Friday 6
th April or Saturday 7
th April at the Hilton, Brisbane. The successful
applicant will be advised of date upon acceptance and full registration and is subject to finalisation of the program
by the Program Committee.
POSTER PRESENTATION:
Abstracts chosen for poster presentation will be displayed for the duration of the ASM. Set up of poster presentation
is to take place on the afternoon of Wednesday, 4
th April with dismantling to occur on the morning of Saturday, 7
th
April.
The selection committee may determine that an Abstract submitted is for oral presentation, poster presentation or
does not meet the selection criteria.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• Abstracts may be for any type of research in gynaecological oncology.
• Full name of author/s should be included. Name of presenter of the Abstract at the conference should be noted.
• All abstracts must be submitted online.
• The body of the Abstract is limited to 500 words (including headings).
• Abstracts should contain the following content sections: Background, Objectives, Methods (including type of
data collected), Results and Conclusions.
• All Abstracts are to be complete at time of final submission, including all data results, if any.
• There is no limit on the number of Abstracts an author may submit.
