On behalf of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons it is my pleasure to invite association members and colleagues to the 2014 Conference to be held at the Hilton Hotel Auckland, New Zealand from 16 – 18 October 2014.
The conference promises to be both informative and enjoyable. We have invited speakers on a broad range of topics which we hope to supplement with papers presented by our members and conference delegates. We will cover most areas of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the conference and so we welcome papers on any topic relevant to the specialty.
We look forward to seeing you in Auckland at ANZAOMS 2014.

Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentation at the Australian & New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons 2014 Conference. The full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery will be considered, including:
- Clinical Practice
- Challenges and Innovations
- Education and Research
- Orthognathic Surgery (with particular reference to planning and navigated surgery)
- Temporomandibular Joint Disorder Implants
- Implants (use of computer planning, difficulties with ridge augmentation)
- Orthodontics (use of mini anchorage to assist surgical cases; space creation vs space closure for congenitally missing teeth; orthognathic planning and decision making regarding surgical set-up and finishing)
- Trauma
- Pathology (benign or malignant)
