It is my great pleasure to invite you to the first combined ANZGOSA/ AGITG meeting to be held in Cairns.
Combining with AGITG provides us with a unique opportunity to focus on the problems of oesophageal and gastric cancer, considering not only the surgical aspects of these disease but also advances in adjuvant and neo-adjuvant therapies and emerging therapies that are currently being trialled.
Iain Thompson has put together an interesting, diverse programme and our confirmed international speaker Professor John Reynolds from Dublin will be a fantastic contributor.
Our social program will reflect the warm hospitality of tropical Northern Queensland. We have the conference dinner on Thursday 5th October at the Shangri La Hotel. We are combined with the AGITG Annual Scientific Meeting delegates and is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones.
I am looking forward to seeing you all in Cairns.
