The University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.


Estimated number of AMA PRA category 1 credits: 18.75 total credits; inclusive of 2.75 in breast MRI, 2.5 in breast ultrasound, 7.5 in digital mamography, and 1.5 in tomosynthesis. Registrants will review 20 mammography cases.


The course also includes 13.5 Self-Assessment credits in Breast Imaging.

The course includes didactic lectures with each half-day session concluding with Self-Assessment questions and panel discussion; concurrent small group workshops on Saturday afternoon. Lecture topics include appropriate use of BI-RADS categories, Tomosynthesis, Management of Lesions, and Screening Issues & Concerns.
