Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Courses – Madison
This course will be taught in accordance with new 2015 American Heart Association Guidelines.
Please note: There are no longer Renewal/Recognition courses. Both courses are the same. Starting June 1, 2016, all CPR courses will be 4.0 hours in length.
The course is intended for health care providers. Provider will learn CPR skills for helping victims of all ages with respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest or choking. This course includes use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (FBAO). Completion of the course offers a CPR card with an expiration date of two years.
Audience
This course is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This course is appropriate for physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician assistants, residents, fellows, medical and nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, other allied health personnel, and police officers.
Please register for only one class session. That means only one waitlist registration or one roster registration. Signing up for more than one class prevents other people from getting their certification. You must sign up for a class by 7am the day before the class.
NOTE: Medical Foundation staff - you must enter your employee ID number during the registration process.
