Mark C. Houston, MD, MS, MSc, ABAARM, FACP, FAHA, is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Clinical Instructor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Care Sciences at George Washington University (GWU), Director of the Hypertension Institute and Vascular Biology and Medical Director of the Division of Human Nutrition at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.


Deanna Minich, PhD, CNS


Dr. Deanna Minich is a functional medicine-trained clinician and researcher with a unique approach to clinical medicine that combines physiology and psychology. She has trained in functional medicine for the past decade with the “Father of Functional Medicine,” Dr. Jeffrey Bland, as her mentor, and has served on the Institute of Functional Medicine’s Nutrition Advisory Board and curriculum committee, in addition to being a faculty member, teaching nutrition for the Advanced Practice Module for Detoxification. Her academic background is in nutritional science, including a Master’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Illinois at Chicago (1995), and a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences (Nutrition) from the University of Groningen in The Netherlands (1999).


Jack Monaco, MD, FACOG, FMNM, ABAARM


Jack Monaco, MD, received his MD from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina. He completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and practiced this specialty until 2007. He is Fellowship trained and Board Certified in Anti-Aging, Functional & Regenerative Medicine. At Nashville Hormone & Integrative Medicine Center, he and his trained staff help his patients achieve health & wellness. He is an Oral Board Examiner for A4M and lectures throughout the United States.


James C. Roberts, MD, FACC, FMNM


James C. Roberts, MD, FACC is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. His practice, which emphasizes integrative approaches to the patient with advanced or inoperable CV disease, is located in Toledo, Ohio.


Filomena Trindade, MD, MPH, ABAARM, ABFM, FMNM


Filomena Trindade, MD, MPH, ABAARM, ABFM, FMNM is a teacher, author, and international speaker in functional medicine. She is a graduate of the fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine and teaches in the Fellowship (a Master’s program through the Morsani School of Medicine, University of South Florida).
