CHEST Annual Meeting 2018
Join us in San Antonio, Texas, October 6-10, for the premier education event in clinical chest medicine. Enhance your patient care, delivery skills, and outcomes with hands-on, interactive sessions while networking with your peers from around the globe.
This year’s Learn by Doing focused program is built by expert faculty and includes cutting-edge education sessions and hands-on opportunities designed with the goal of learning through active participation.
But don’t take our word for it. Watch as CHEST 2018 Program Chair David A. Schulman, MD, MPH, FCCP, walks you through the vision of this year’s meeting
CHEST will once again present two very distinguished awards at this year’s annual meeting. Nominations are now open for the Early Career Clinician Educator and Master Clinician Educator awards, given to two clinicians who have demonstrated a strong commitment to CHEST educational activities within two distinct career timeframes.
Early Career Clinician Educator award nominees must be within ten years of starting their practice, have already made significant contributions to CHEST educational activities, and be committed to continuing to grow as our faculty.

Master Clinician Educator award nominees must have twenty years or more of clinical practice, be dedicated to educational outcomes demonstrated through the conduct of educational research or publication of educational outcomes, and have service on a CHEST committee, NetWork Steering Committee, subcommittee, or work group.

Self-nominations are accepted. All 2017 Early Career Clinician and Master Clinician Educator Award nominees will also be automatically reconsidered. Any nominees may also be considered for future CHEST teaching, task force, and work group opportunities. Nominations are open through May 31.
