Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • describe the target approach to radiographic evaluation of arthritic disease and advantages/disadvantages of the other various imaging modalities available
  • identify the appearance of rheumatoid arthritis and joints involved
  • recognize the imaging appearances of osteoarthritis and erosive osteoarthritis
  • recognize the imaging appearances of common crystalline diseases (gout and calcium pyrophosphate arthropathy
