The EBU works according to the rules and quality standards of the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME), according to the EACCME-UEMS criteria.

The EBU/EACCME CME Credits are recognized by National Accreditation Authorities.

Welcome message:

We have the pleasure to announce the organization of the 1st  International Congress  “CLINICAL TOPICS IN UROLOGY (CTU)”, to be held in Athens, Greece, on the 5th and 6th of July, 2013. The meeting is planned to be repeated every year focusing on different monothematic topics, starting with Lithiasis.

The meeting is jointly organized by the First and the Second University Departments of Urology of the Athens University Medical School, in joint forces with the Department of Urology of the "Acibadem" University Medical School, Istanbul and the Israeli Endourological Society is an integral part of the Israeli Urological Association.

* All HOT Workshop participants will attend the introductory part for one hour as a group and then practice separately for one hour each in the stimulator training station. Times advised in the table correspond to the total practice time for all participants (four stimulators available, i.e. 9 hours of practice for all 36 participants to be trained for an hour each).

Participation in the HOT Workshops:
Registration to the CTU Congress is a prerequisite for your participation in a HOT Workshop. Due to limited availability, CTU delegates are kindly advised to register to the HOT Workshops as soon as possible, by filling in the appropriate field in their online or offline registration form; participation will be confirmed on a “first-come first-served” basis, upon payment of the HOT Workshop registration fee.

Cancellation Policy

Written notification is required for all cancellations and changes to your itinerary. A copy of the Registration & Accommodation Booking Form should be attached to the letter of notification and sent to ERASMUS CONFERENCES TOURS & TRAVEL S.A.

For every written cancellation received before May 31st , 2013, 50% of the accommodation fee will be refunded. No refund will be granted thereafter.

Call for Abstracts

 Submission procedure

Please read the below mentioned information, before entering to the on line system:

  1. The first step to follow before submitting an abstract on line is to login to the system, by creating your own username and password required by the system. The username and password will be useful in any of your future visits to the on line services of the Congress (registration, hotel accommodation, etc)
  2. Abstracts must be submitted in English through the on-line abstract submission form
  3. Your abstract must be submitted until April 30th , 2013
  4. All received abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee
  5. The Presenting author will be notified by May 25th , 2013
  6. For each abstract, the registration fee for at least one of the authors, should be paid.
  7. The presentation of the abstract and its publication in the Final Program is conditional upon payment of the registration fee by the at least one of the author per abstract
  8. The presenting author of an abstract can only be a co-author of another abstract
  9. Abstract texts must be a maximum of 500 words.
  10. Number references should be placed in the order they appear in the abstract. 
  11. If an author wishes to withdraw a submitted abstract, a written request should be sent to the Congress Secretariat
  12. Abstracts will not be accepted if sent by fax, e-mail or hard copy (paper copy)
  13. For any corrections in an already submitted abstract, the presenting author can enter the on line system and proceed accordingly, only if he has marked his abstract in a “pending” status (please see instructions in the on line procedure). After the expiration of the abstract submission deadline, all abstract will automatically turned to “Confirmed” status, therefore, no change can be made by the author
