The course is designed to allow learners/participants to manage a difficult airway in any clinical environment. The course will specifically address the medical knowledge and skills related to the airway anatomy of adults, difficult airway management and techniques such as cricothyroidotomy, jet ventilation, fiberoptic bronchoscope, C-MAC, Airtraq, bougie, LMA and King LT airway.


Simulation tissue models, animal models – pluck, and SimMan human patient simulator will be used. 


Difficult Airway Workshop is organized by University of Minnesota - Continuing Professional Development and will be held on Dec 08, 2018 at SimPORTAL, Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States of America. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 4.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
