To provide an update of the techniques and clinical indications for imaging patients encountered in the ER/Trauma setting, and for imaging musculoskeletal disorders likely to be encountered in the emergency setting.

  • Optimize Protocols and imaging techniques for CT in the ER & Trauma patients, for accurate diagnosis while minimizing radiation exposure
  • Discuss fundamentals of interpretation of musculoskeletal imaging in the Emergency Department
  • Demonstrate imaging of common and uncommon entities encountered in Emergency Department and in polytrauma patients
  • Understand clinical utility of CT in Acute Coronary Syndrome
