For the First time in the Middle East & GCC region, The Emirates Urological Society (EUS) joins hands with the Societe Internationale D’Urologie (SIU), The European Association of Urology (EAU) & The Arab Association of Urology (AAU), to stage a truly international educational and scientific program in the field of urology, with participation from leading experts and world renowned faculty to share the latest innovations and advancements in the field.

The Emirates International Urological Conference 2014, is hosted by the Emirates Urological Society of the Emirates Medical Association and will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The International Emirates Urological Conference 2014 will take place at The Ritz Carlton in Dubai International Financial Centre, which features a direct walkway to the heart of DIFC. The Dubai Metro is a safe and efficient way to travel around the city with feeder buses available at every metro station to take you to your final destination.

Submission Info
The EUSC 2014 Scientific Committee invites the submission of abstracts to be presented as Case-based, Video and Moderated Poster Presentations only. Abstracts will be reviewed, and accepted submissions will be published in the Conference proceedings. Submissions are accepted online.

 

Deadline to submit the abstract is 31st August 2014.

Abstract Submission Opens for Case-based, Video and Moderated Poster Presentations only.

Abstract submissions will be divided into separate categories, depending on the topic.

 
 

Guidelines for Abstract Submission

A special criterion for accepting abstracts will be their topic as well as structure, content and degree of innovation.

Structure of the Abstract

The structure of the abstract should be as follows:

  1. Background and Purpose
  2. Methods
  3. Results
  4. Conclusions
  • Please note that a maximum of 300 words is permitted. The titles and the names of the authors are excluded from this number and have to be entered separately. Tables should not be included in the abstract body.
  • Methods section should include type of statistical analysis done if applicable to the study.
  • Statements like “Results will be discussed” are not acceptable and may lead to a rejection of the abstract

Author Agreement

By submitting the abstract, the author confirms and agrees to the following:

  1. All authors approve submitting this work for presentation.
  2. The authors have done the work reported in the abstract and take full responsibility for the contents.
  3. The authors transfer all copyright ownership of the abstract to the EUSC 2014.
  4. The authors agree to confine their presentation to information in the abstract.
  5. At least one author will be available to present the abstract if selected for the program.
  6. The author will immediately notify the EUSC 2014 Scientific Committee if they are unable to make a presentation or if the presenting author must be changed.
  7. The authors guarantee that clinical studies and any animal tests have proceeded with the official permission from the proper authorities.
  8. All presenters will be responsible for their own registration fees, hotel and travel expenses. We regret that we cannot waive registration fees or cover expenses for any oral or poster presenters.
