SYMA has opened Hungary's largest congress center!

The reconstruction of Hall "C" realised from own resources, makes it possible to organise comprehensively or give place even for congresses up to 2000 pax by international PCO standards. The pavilion can be separated into 4 sections by modern mobile walls. The capacity of each section room is between 300-500 pax. Beside this, Hall "A" is suitable for organising exhibitions on 7000 sqm, which is an essential part of the international congresses. Moreover, Hall "B" is perfect for gala dinners up to 2300 guests. The local congress organiser of SYMA Sport- and Event Centre is Meeting Budapest Ltd..

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

We have great pleasure in announcing that the ESGE meeting in 2015 will take place at Syma, Budapest from the 7th–10th October 2015. 

Growing interest in endoscopic surgery, enlargement of our society and the increasing number of delegates attending our annual meetings give us every reason to be optimistic about the future of our field. In this positive climate, we are encouraged to deliver even more to the professionals and patients to improve standards and achieve better outcomes. 

The 24th Annual Congress of the ESGE will be an excellent opportunity to provide these.

Budapest is often described as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and is well known for its stunning views from the banks of the river Danube and its famous Széchenyi Chain Bridge. We hope the 24th ESGE Congress will build more bridges between the healthcare providers, researchers, innovators and manufacturers, hence our motto for 2015 ‘Building Bridges’. We have no doubt that the Congress will be an excellent opportunity for all of us to share our experiences, present research findings and demonstrate products, as well as seeing the city of Budapest.

Abstract submission for the ESGE Annual Congress 2015 opens 1st March 2015 and closes 

15th May 2015. 


We warmly invite you to present your scientific work for the 24th Annual ESGE Congress to be held in Budapest from 7th-10th October 2015, today one of the most important congresses in the field of gynaecological endoscopy.


How to submit an abstract


Go to the abstract submission section and use the credentials you received by e-mail from the ESGE Abstract Services. 

If you did not receive any credentials, you must first 'Create a new account' and you will then receive the credentials necessary to proceed with your abstract submission.


Brief Abstract Guidelines


Abstracts must be submitted exclusively online via the submission system.

Abstracts must be submitted in English only.

The material presented shall be unpublished and original material, which has not yet been disclosed or presented in any other meeting.

In the case of more than one submission, only one oral presentation meeting the criteria can be selected .

Maximum number of co-authors is 5.

Video abstract should include the video with abstract submission.

Please read carefully the instructions about the topics, content and format and submission procedure before submitting your abstract.

Please be aware that only abstracts of authors who are registered for the congress will be considered. Registration deadline for abstract submitters is 30th June 2015.

This year the ESGE is pleased to host its 24th Annual Congress in Budapest, Hungary - the home country of Dr. Janos Veress, a pioneer in laparoscopic surgery. As we approach 25 years since the introduction of endoscopic surgery in Hungary, it is fitting that we note this anniversary by holding our congress in Budapest.

Budapest is often described as one of the most beautiful cities in the world and is well known for its stunning views from the banks of the river Danube and its famous Széchenyi Chain Bridge.

We hope the 24th ESGE Congress will build more bridges between the healthcare providers, researchers, innovators and manufacturers, hence our motto for 2015 ‘Building Bridges’.

During this Congress we expect to enhance the programme by providing the latest navigational technology, by offering Hands On Training and Testing Sessions, Live Surgeries and Tutorials and the programme will be co-ordinated with parallel sessions scheduled to meet the needs of all interests.

At the Syma, there will be free movement between industry and the lecture rooms as all will be provided on the same level.

The ESGE is continuously growing and with strong support from industry, we expect even greater participation numbers this year.
