Submission
It is recommended that the following headings are used when submitting abstracts:
- Introduction and Aims
- Material and Methods
- Results
- Conclusion(s)
To increase the likelihood of acceptance the abstract should capture the interest of the reviewers, be succinct, have a clear message and avoid phrases such as “preliminary results” or “results will be presented”. In considering which papers to accept for presentation at the congress, the Scientific Committee favours original work which has not already been published. Preference will be given to abstracts that contain details of the aims and objectives, the materials and methods used, the key results, the conclusion and clinical application of the study.
If your abstract submission is a “case report” please state this in the presentation preference option. Remember if it falls into this category it may be better submitted as a poster.
Presentation Type
Authors may submit papers for either oral or electronic poster presentation.
Due to the large number of excellent papers expected and limited programme space, it may not be possible to offer everyone an oral presentation where requested therefore you may be offered an e-poster presentation. Please indicate during submission for if you do not wish your abstract considered for an e-poster presentation.
The Scientific Committee reserves the right to:
•Transfer any abstract to an alternative theme/session if it considers this to be more appropriate.
•Edit the abstract prior to publication

Selection
All abstracts are anonymous before being considered by ESPRAS 2014. The “corresponding author” will receive acceptance/rejection notification and further information as applicable.
The Scientific Committee’s decision on paper acceptance is final and no discussion will be entered into with authors.
Attendance at Congress
It is a requirement of the congress that all presenting authors of the accepted abstract register to attend the congress at the appropriate rate. On acceptance of the abstract, the presenting author must register before 31 March 2014. Failure to do so by 31 March 2014 will result in their abstract being removed from the programme.
Please ensure that the information provided is correct. Changes to abstracts, titles, author lists will not be possible once the submission deadline has closed.
