Welcome from the Chairman

The FIS (Federation of Infection Societies) Annual Conference is a collaboration between all organisations who have an interest in infection from across the UK. In 2013, BSAC (British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy) will host the three day event on behalf of all societies at the prestigious ICC in the heart of Birmingham.

The programme features state of the art plenary and parallel sessions, workshops and much more. The agenda covers the full spectrum of infection prevention, research, diagnosis and treatment which will provide a fantastic opportunity for all involved to learn the latest developments in the ever evolving field of infection.

For the first time at FIS, poster walks will be interactive with a new speakers corner and the whole exhibition area will be interesting and interactive.
The meeting is open to all healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with infection and we look forward to seeing you all there.
