Focused Meeting: 16th International Conference on Pseudomonas
Focused Meeting: 16th International Conference on Pseudomonas is organized by Society for General Microbiology and would be held during Sep 5 - 9, 2017 at Liverpool, England, United Kingdom.
The Pseudomonas International Conference is a biennial event that brings together researchers from all over the world who are working on the genus Pseudomonas, including not only the important human pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa, but also a range of other important species with relevance to plant pathogenicity, bioremediation and environmental microbiology.
The meeting is aimed primarily at scientists (from postgraduate students to PIs) with an interest in Pseudomonas, but because of the widespread use of this genus as a model to study multiple systems, it will be of general interest to other researchers active in areas such as evolutionary biology, communication systems, genomics and biofilm research.
Key topics include:
• Infections and host–pathogen interactions
• Ecology, evolution and environment
• Mechanisms: signalling, systems and synthetic
• Antibiotics and biofilms
• Genomics
