The GI_Forum 2015 provides a platform for dialogue among geospatial minds in an ongoing effort to support the creation of an informed GISociety.

Bearing in mind different perspectives from a variety of professions, presentations, workshops and exhibitions will concentrate on innovations in education, science and technologies, in the spatial domain and their possible contribution to a more just, ethical and sustainable society.

Prominent keynote speakers will highlight new developments, offer insights into trends and visions, and at the same time be available for our Young Researchers' Corner for more individualized interaction with young researchers. We hope to see you at GI_Forum 2015!

Presentation guidelines
Pinboard size: total height 1.8m, Poster area: 1.2m*1.5m portrait format - equivalent to DIN A0 paper format. Other formats will not be supported.

Poster session

• You need to mount your poster by no later than Wednesday, July 8, 2015, 1pm on the designated pinboard.
• Poster discussion starts on Wednesday July 8, 2015 at 6:30pm. Please be available for discussion at your poster location.

Poster competition

• Submitted posters are automatically included in the AGIT / GI_Forum poster competition.
• From 1pm on Wednesday July 8, 2015 all mounted posters will be numbered and voted for until Thursday afternoon. All AGIT / GI_Forum participants are eligible to vote.
• The best posters will be announced in a poster award ceremony during the social event Thursday evening (July 9).
