ICJR 24th Annual Perspectives in Total Joint Arthroplasty: Updates in Knee Replacement 2016
The Annual Perspectives in Total Joint Arthroplasty Course was started in 1992 by David A. McQueen, MD, with the goal of to promote the highest standards of orthopaedic practice by educating practitioners, promoting research, and encouraging communication between opinion leaders and community-based physicians. We are honored to continue Dr. McQueen’s legacy through this year’s course. Presentations at the David A. McQueen Memorial 24th Annual Perspectives in Total Joint Arthroplasty: Updates in Knee Replacement meeting will focus on the knee, providing new insights into the challenges of managing primary and revision total knee arthroplasty patients. The faculty will examine the latest research on implant designs, take on the controversy of surgical approaches for the total knee, and offer strategies for overcoming difficulties in revision procedures.
This meeting will feature:
• An intimate setting that promotes open discussions between faculty and attendees
• Interactive case presentations covering challenging TKA surgeries
• Diagnosis, management, treatment, and prevention of infections
• Managing difficult primary and complex revision surgeries
