International Conference on Allergy Asthma & Immunology 2019
An allergy is an immune system hypersensitive reaction triggered in response to a foreign substance that either come in or come into contact with the body. Substances that develop allergy are called "allergens." Pollens, dust mites, molds, animal proteins, foods, and medications are some of the examples of allergens. These Allergens are foreign substances to the body. When the individual who is allergic comes in contact with an allergen, the allergic part of the immune system generates a response by producing Immunoglobulin E antibodies. The antibodies move to cells that release histamine and other chemicals, & cause an allergic reaction.
