Submission Info
The central theme of the conference is cognition – more specifically topics including attention, perception, memory, learning, and decision making etc. with a special focus on how these processes are influenced by emotion or action. We welcome contributions on fundamental questions pertaining to the nature of emotion, consciousness, and cognition.
Research in related areas of cognitive or computational psychology, neuroimaging, affective computing, neuro-economics, philosophy etc. will also be considered. The conference will include invited keynote lectures, papers and poster sessions, and symposia arranged around specific themes.
Abstracts should be submitted using the EasyChair website. If you do not have an EasyChair account already, you will need to sign-up.
alk/Poster
The submissions for talks and posters should not be more than 400 words and should include details of methodology and results. It is also important to indicate whether you would want us to consider the submission for a talk or a poster. The talks will be for 20 minutes of which 5 minutes will be for questions.
Posters should be A1 size, preferably portrait orientation.
Symposium
We also invite interested participants to organize symposia on topics that are relevant to the theme of the conference. Each symposium can have between 4 and 5 speakers presenting for 15 minutes each, and 15 minutes allocated in the end for discussions. Proposal for a symposium should be submitted by the chair indicating the relevance of the topic and how it fits with the conference theme. Proposals should not be more than 600 words and should include names of 3 speakers other than the chair.
