Overview

With the medical travel market growing at a rate of 15-25% per year, the size is estimated at US$38.5-55 billion, based on approximately 11 million cross-border patients worldwide. By 2020, Dubai's medical tourism initiative projects up to 500,000 medical tourists, accounting for an annual medical spend of AED2.6 billion.

Returning for 2015, the International Medical Travel Exhibition and Conference (IMTEC) will take place from 7-8 October 2015 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

IMTEC provides a global platform for hospital groups, medical travel organisations and health services companies to increase their international presence and patient network, and gain market share in this growing industry. This event will play host to more than 100 regional and international exhibitors, and attract an estimated 2,200 attendees from across the world.
