Dear Colleagues,

It is a great honor to welcome you to Rio de Janeiro for the 22nd Biennial Congress to be held from the 19th to the 22nd of September, 2014. Certainly it will be one of the largest meetings of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in the world as we are expecting more than 2,500 participants and are doing our best to create an outstanding scientific and social event for our international guests.

The Scientific Program Committee headed by Chairs Drs. Jorge Herrera from Argentina and Nazim Cerkes from Turkey is preparing a high level educational program involving more than 500 speakers, moderators, panelists and video presenters. A diverse social program with the theme Carioca Way of Life is being organized by our Local Arrangements Committee under the direction of Drs. Ruy Vieira and Eduardo Sucupira from Rio.

September is our springtime – a wonderful season in Brazil – and you must not miss this unique opportunity to come to Brazil and enjoy our beaches, Iguassu Falls, the Amazon and so many beautiful regions of our country. As the Congress will run for four days from Friday to Monday, we suggest that you plan to arrive on Thursday or Friday in Barra da Tijuca – a wonderful new area of Rio about 45 minutes from the International Airport. Our venue will be the Windsor Convention Center and all hotels, shops, restaurants, golf courses, and the beautiful beach are nearby.
