The 2017 International Workshop on Musculoskeletal and Neuronal Interactions is a multidisciplinary scientific meeting on the interplay between nerves, muscles, and bone.


The workshop is organized in collaboration with Shriners Hospital for Children and the International Society of Musculoskeletal and Neuronal Interactions (ISMNI), a nonprofit scientific society that aims to enhance the knowledge of the interactions between tissues and organs of the musculoskeletal system.


Previous ISMNI meetings have been held in Europe. This is the first such meeting in North America and will take into account the many exciting new developments in this rapidly evolving field. This meeting will discuss mechanical forces and biological factors, rare diseases and common disorders, musculoskeletal development, sarcopenia, and ageing.
