The scientific program will feature nationally renowned faculty that will present the latest research, discuss complex cases and provide attendees with practical recommendations that they will be able to take back and immediately implement into practice. The program will once again offer subspecialty symposia breakouts including cornea/refractive surgery, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, and retina-vitreous. Confirmed faculty for the scientific sessions include: Vance M. Thompson, MD (Cataract/Cornea/Refractive Surgery), Leon W. Herndon, Jr., MD (Glaucoma), Larry P. Frohman, MD (Neuro-ophthalmology), William R. Nunery, MD, FACS (Oculoplastics) and the Melvin L. Rubin, MD Award Lecturer Steve Charles, MD, FACS, FICS (Retina-Vitreous).
In addition to the educational offerings, there will be plenty of opportunities for attendees to connect with colleagues and network during exhibit hall and social functions. The exhibit hall will have more than 50 companies, which will be exhibiting and showcasing the best services and products in the field of ophthalmology.
