Mayo Clinic Neuroscience and Oncology Innovation Summit 2018
This course is designed for neurologists, neurosurgeons, medical oncologists, neuropathologists, neurointerventional surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, ARNPs/PAs, nurses and other healthcare personnel who are interested in this field.
Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
Recognize the signs and symptoms of cancer and primary and metastic brain tumors
Define tumor biology of primary and metastatic brain tumors as well as new scientific methods to destroy and neutralize tumor growth
Provide cutting-edge updates in neuroscience, neuro-oncology, and oncologic biology research
Outline U.S. health challenges in patient care for the future of those with brain and other tumors and cancer

As part of the 2018 Neuroscience and Oncology Innovation Summit course, an e-Poster session for presentation of original research and challenging cases dedicated to the fields of Neuroscience, Neuro-Oncology, and Oncology will be held at this meeting. Abstracts can be submitted in the following formats:
Neuro/Oncology research: The conference will also review randomized trials, outcome studies, potential practice innovations, basic and translational research, as well as health economics of neuro/oncology patient care. Also research into systems-based practice innovation or improvements will be reviewed for acceptance.
Challenging Neuro/Oncology and Oncology Cases. These may include challenging clinical cases encountered in practice (ie., case reports) of those encountered in clinical practice.
Posters will be peer-reviewed. Accepted abstract recipients will be notified by email after the deadline, Monday, August 20, 2018. At least one of the authors must register and attend the conference. Please email FLA CME Abstracts for additional details.
