Event Overview
Welcome message:

Now in its 25th year, Neurology for the Primary Care Provider continues to attract a large audience of clinicians who manage patients with acute and chronic neurologic disorders in diverse settings.  Each year, over 100 health care professionals – approximately one half of whom are physicians – attend this conference.  The program highlights the most recent diagnostic and treatment advances in the field of neurology, utilizing a highly interactive case-based format.

The lecturers in this course are pre-eminent experts in their fields, who have also demonstrated superior skills at presenting material of this type to large audiences.  This year’s speakers include Drs. Christopher Tarolli, Ralph Jozefowicz, Jeffrey McClean and Deana Bonno. Dr. Tarolli is an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Movement Disorders Unit at the University of Rochester and will be speaking on Movement Disorders. Dr. Jozefowicz is Professor of Neurology and Medicine, and Associate Chair for Education in the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester and will be speaking on Somatoform Disorders. Dr. McClean is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at San Antonio Military Medical Center and will be speaking on Peripheral Neuropathy. Dr. Bonno is an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the Epilepsy Unit at the University of Rochester and will be speaking on Epilepsy.
