The conferences at Obs-Gyne provided a well-rounded look into what major health issues are affecting women in this region.


The Obs-Gyne Conference was a three-day event, that focused on general gynaecology and specialised fields such as maternal health, fertility and oncology. This conference has brought speakers together from all over the world, this was truly an international platform where healthcare professionals shared and discussed all topics related to obstetrics and gynaecology.


The Women’s Health Programme was a one-day programme, targeted on GPs and family physicians. It highlighted topics which are of importance to physicians who are treating women on a daily basis,

this conference looked at obesity, menopause, depression and cardiovascular disease.


The Midwifery Conference, was a regionally accredited programme dedicated to providing midwives and nurses with the latest information and international guidelines needed to improve their practice. At this year’s conference, the theme was, ‘Midwifery leadership and engagement’, focused on the establishment of strong women in the field of midwifery.
