Pain Week Cruise to Greece and Turkey June 2015
The PAINWeek at Sea curriculum is presented by a multidisciplinary faculty and is intended for frontline clinicians including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists. Participants may earn up to 12.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ across a broad range of pain conditions and practice considerations. An extensive, practical curriculum designed to enhance practitioner capabilities in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of chronic pain conditions. Course topics include chronic pain assessment, the transition from acute to chronic pain, chronic pain syndromes, diagnosis and management of centralized pain, rational polypharmacy, PK and PD drug interactions, opioids A-Z, the role of adjuvants and co-analgesics in pain therapy, pain and personality disorders, fundamentals of pain and addiction, appropriate use of medical marijuana, and geriatric pain management.
Conference Sessions generally take place on days at sea (as itinerary allows), giving you plenty of time to enjoy your meals, evenings and ports of call with your companion, family and friends.
