Pathology Visions 2015 will cover a broad range of topics relevant to digital pathology. Digital pathology is growing rapidly as a method of viewing microscopic glass slides virtually. It encompasses the steps of scanning, interpretation, manipulation, analysis, distribution and management. Digital images can be used for a wide variety of purposes, from education, evaluation and research.
At Pathology Visions 2015, the Digital Pathology Association (DPA) will offer workshops to bring attendees the most cutting-edge educational content, and will offer continuing medical education credits for those in attendance.
The Indiana State Medical Association (ISMA) designates this program for a maximum of 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the ISMA and the Digital Pathology Association. The ISMA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
NoteWhile offering the CME credit hours listed in these pages, these activities are not intended to provide extensive training in a field.
In accordance with the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support, educational programs sponsored by the ISMA must demonstrate balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor. Prior to the activity, all faculty, authors, editors and planning committee members participating in an ISMA-sponsored activity are required to disclose to attendees any relevant financial interest or other relationship with the manufacturer(s) of any commercial product(s) and/or provider(s) of commercial services that are discussed in an educational activity.
