On behalf of the Association of Paediatric Endo Surgeons Group of India (PESI), it is our proud privilege to invite you to participate in PESI-IAPSCON 2015, the 10th Annual National Conference of PESI, at Hotel Clarks Amer, JAIPUR, India from 27th February to 1st March, 2015.

PESI has gained strength and consolidated its activities in the past few years .This year again we have booked renowned leaders in our speciality who are committed and intellectually stimulating international and national faculty. As has been the precedence, we assure a meeting full of pearls and tips useful for the attending Paediatric Surgeons focusing on minimal invasive surgical procedures.

The theme of the CME shall be "Controversies & Complications in Minimal Access Paediatric Surgery". We intend to create a platform where we can come together, share our experience and knowledge, present and project our expertise and debate over relevant issues in an uninhibited atmosphere. I am sure, with all the like –minded enthusiasts working together, our association will get a much needed energy and stimulation, to enhance the level of Science of Paediatric Surgery in India.

Jaipur being a cultural centre of India, provides a vibrant backdrop for this meeting. With a rich history and cultural heritage, it is set to provide a perfect venue to mark our 10th anniversary.

This event will be possible and successful only with your active participation.

Submission Info

• Abstracts are invited for award papers, free papers, Video and Poster presentations.
• Structured abstracts to be submitted by 30th November, 2014.
• Abstract should not be more than 250 words and written in a standard format.
• The scientific committee will review the abstracts and decide the section of presentation.
• Registration is mandatory prior to any paper, video or poster presentation.
• Abstracts can be sent to the conference secretariat by post or e-mail to pesicon2015@gmail.com
• Karl Storz video presentation will be decided by the scientific committee and the Karl Storz advisory committee.

KARL STORZ PESI BEST VIDEO AWARD FOR THE YEAR 2015

Guidelines

1. The award is for the Best video presentation in the annual conference of PESI-IAPS.
2. The Abstract with video can be submitted to The Chairman PESI (ramadwar@yahoo.com) and a copy marked to the secretary PESI(agarwal_prakash@hotmail.com). Videos can be attached by Google drive, Drop box or sent by courier through DVD/CD.
3. The Best video will be decided by the EC committee during the annual conference at Jaipur and there will be 2 awards. The award carries a certificate and 1st prize of Rs 15,000/- in the form of cheque and 2nd Prize of Rs 10000/- in the form of cheque
4. Last date for sending abstract and video CD: 30th November 2014
5. Duration of video: Maximum time limit should be 8 mins. It should be in MPEG format.
6. The video will not be considered for award if it is presented by anyone other than the first author.
7. The first author has to be member of PESI-IAPS. If selected then the first author will have to present the video in the annual conference of PESI-IAPS. The video will disqualify if it is presented by any other person then the first author.
8. Only one video can be submitted per member for this session.
9. From the submitted videos, maximum of 6 video will qualify for the final presentation in the annual conference of PESI-IAPS.
10. The best video will be judged by the following criteria.
    1. Completion in time
    2. Quality of video
    3. Innovative steps in surgery
    4. Clarity in thought process
    5. Discussion if any (author can be asked maximum of three questions)
