LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By attending a Practical Pediatrics CME Course, you will:

Update your knowledge of clinical issues by reviewing hot topics and recent practical advances for your office.

Increase your ability to diagnose and manage patients in your practice by analyzing and discussing cases with the faculty and your peers.

Why You Should Attend a Practical Pediatrics CME Course:

Weekend courses with half-day sessions combine continuing professional development with relaxation and recreation at great destinations.

Top-quality education and an opportunity to talk directly with expert faculty provide current and practical pediatric information to take back to your office and use right away.

Interactive, case-based sessions offer expert guidance about situations you encounter in practice.

Hot-topic discussions cover the latest in pediatric medicine.

Concurrent Seminar Selection

You can attend one concurrent seminar each day in the subspecialty of your choice. To allow more informal interaction with the faculty, attendance in each seminar is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation of your concurrent seminar registrations will be included in your on-site registration packet.

Special group rates beginning at $225 per night, plus tax, for single or double occupancy, have been negotiated at the Contemporary Resort. Additional rooms have been reserved at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for $269 per night, plus tax. These rates represent substantial savings from published rates. The cutoff date for reservations at the group rate is February 21, 2018. Call the hotel directly to make your reservations and ask for the AAP group rate.

A limited number of guest rooms have been reserved, and they are assigned based on availability (first-come, first-served). Please be aware that the room block may be filled prior to February 21, 2018; in such a case, neither the group rate nor guest room availability can be guaranteed. The AAP, therefore, recommends that you make your reservations as early as possible.

To accommodate as many course participants as possible, registrants will be permitted to reserve no more than two rooms in the AAP’s hotel room block. If rooms remain available in the AAP room block three weeks prior to the start of the course, registrants may reserve additional rooms as needed.
